Epic HD Cam

I'm so cool I can take a pic of myself as I ride...superb handling skills:)

I'm also so cool that I can take a picture of myself and Dan while standing in a parking lot.

The fellas got a little bit away from me while I was goofin' with the camera, so I had to bring them back...

  2. Haha thanks! They pulled a Contador on me and attacked when I was distracted! Everyone knows you don't go on a man playing with his helmet cam!:)
Yeah the camera is totally stable. I actually wound up using the helmet mount ziptied to the handlebars. When I got home from the ride there was a package on my front step containing the "actual" bar mount I ordered (I guess the camera and mount shipped seperately). Anyway, I'm planning on using the "bar mount" on my next ride and I'm interested to see if it's any better. If it's no better than the real bar mount them I'm sending it back and getting a refund.:) It (the real bar mount) sits the camera up a little higher which I think might add some instablilty... I'll keep you updated.
All in all though this thing is fun! I can't wait to get it out on the trails and down some mountain descents! Michael Barry has some cool video of descending in Spain a few posts back on his blog if you wanna see how it'll look... Enjoy!

Yeah, the ziptie mount was much better than the actual "bar mount" that I bought seperately. Don't know if you looked, but the vids with the bar mount were super bouncy and noisy...just about unwatchable! Anyway, stay tuned to the blog! Once the trails get a bit better I'll have some good mtb vids too!
